C.H.I.N. is proud to help sponsor Angel's Pediatric Heart House as they present “Miles and Millas Across America”. Miles and Millas are Heart Shadow Buddies™ spreading hope and encouragement to families affected by Congenital Heart Defects (CHD).

The purpose of the “Miles and Millas Across America” campaign is to promote and increase public awareness. However, more importantly, Angel’s Pediatric Heart House is hopeful that through the travels of Miles and Millas  parents and family members of a child undergoing heart surgery will be  encouraged by the words and stories of other families throughout the United States facing similar challenges. The families’ stories, messages of hope and encouragement, and pictures will be recorded in a passport diary and shared with all those affected, the medical staff and professionals who care for the child, and the CHD community at large.

Every child visited by Miles and Millas in the pediatric cardiac care unit receives a free Heart Shadow Buddy™ from Angel’s Pediatric Heart House!
