Memorial Garden

The Memorial Garden was created to honor our "brave warriors" who are no longer with us. We wish to thank their parents for sharing the stories of their precious children, and making them a part of our lives. We hope that you will find comfort in knowing that these beloved children will always be remembered, and will live in our hearts forever.

Christopher Faller

5/7/90 - 3/24/98

Taryn Marie Muir
2/1/95 - 5/15/95

Our precious little girl was born with Down Syndrome and Endocardial Cushion Defect. She had open-heart surgery on April 27th, 1995, at the age of 2 1/2 months. She had a tough time soon after the surgery, and her chances of survival went from 95% before the surgery to 50% immediately after. She struggled to survive, and on the 13th of May, our princess came home!! She began breathing hard, and we took her into the doctors office. Later that morning, she died due to a heart attack, pneumonia, and supra-ventricular tachycardia. We love and miss Taryn very much, but we know we will hold her in our arms again someday.

She is survived by her parents, Ron & Tanya, and brothers
Jared & Logan, and a sister, Tayah.

Abigail Grace Johnson
3/22/98 - 6/8/98

Our sweet girl was born very quickly one spring afternoon. We soon discovered that Abby had TGA (Transposition of the Great Arteries) and would eventually need surgery. She was so brave for 11 long weeks of emergency trips and lengthy hospital stays. So many prayed for her and loved her.

God decided that her suffering would end on June 8, 1998. Abby died two weeks after surgery to place a shunt in her heart. She is dearly loved and sorely missed by so many.
We find comfort in the fact that we will meet again someday and be together forever.

Baby brother or sister on the way (5/99)

Jonathan Matthew Walker
10/15/97 - 8/27/98

At 5 months of pregnancy, we were told of Jonathan's heart defect. He had double outlet right ventricle and Hypoplastic Left Ventricle. He had a PA banding, a BT shunt and died 8/27/98, just one day after the Glenn surgery, at the sweet age of 10 1/2 months. Our hearts broke the day he left us, but I know in my heart that he is safe and warm somewhere in the heavens above. I know he has many beautiful playmates, as I have met so many families who have lost their precious children as well.

Jonathan, we miss your smile, your sweet kisses, and your silly games. Your new baby brother came into the world just three days after what would have been your first birthday. Watch over us, angel, until we are reunited in the heavens above.

Nicholas Peter Gray
9/17/96 - 9/27/96

Nicholas was born 17 Sept, 1996, and weighed 6lbs, 10 and a half ounces. I was induced at 38 weeks, as they wanted him to be born at a city hospital with the best of care available. He was born looking as you will see, totally normal. We were told he would look blue, he just looked so normal. That night he was transfered to another hospital. At 3 days of age he went in for the first stage of the Norwood Procedure. He died when he was 10 days old after many ups and downs. He was a real fighter, but it must have been too much for his poor little body to cope with. He is dearly missed each and every day. Nicholas was so beautiful and so 'normal' looking it sometimes makes it harder to accept that he was so ill.

He will allways be in our hearts.

Tara Lynn Morrison
11/26/98 - 11/30/98

Our baby girl, Our little angel, from way up above,
How we wanted you forever to hold and to love.
And now that you're gone, no words can explain,
the pain and the sorrow we're feeling, knowing our lives will never be the same.
Tara Lynn, Our baby girl, Our little angel from way up above,
We will always be grateful for having you to love.

We love you Tara Lynn
