Memorial Garden
The
Memorial Garden was created to honor our "brave warriors" who are
no longer with us. We wish to thank their parents for sharing the
stories of their precious children, and making them a part of our
lives. We hope that you will find comfort in knowing that these
beloved children will always be remembered, and will live in our
hearts forever.

Bailey
Christine Cross
11/27/98 - 12/3/98 |
From the second Bailey was born, she taught
her proud parents what the word "strong" means. Bailey graced us
with her temper, determination, and strength. She was a very
feisty little girl. She fought her entire six days for life - for
us. It was our turn to be strong for our "Bailey girl", and allow
her to be in the presence of God. Bailey Christine is loved and
missed each day. We will never forget the birth and the life of
our precious angel. "We love you and miss you Bailey, until we
meet again".
Love,
Your Mom, Dad, and brother Zach

Devon Ray
Coon
3/23/97- 3/24/97 |
Our Precious Angel, after an
uncomplicated pregnancy, was born weighing 9 pounds, 2ounces. He
was apneic and pulseless. I thank God every day for the wonderful
doctors at our local hospital. They got Devon's heart beating, and
he was stabilized for the trip to the Children's Hospital. Not
long after arriving there, we were told that Devon had
Transposition of the Great Vessels. He died during the initial
surgery to correct this.
Although our baby was with us for a very
short time, he made a large impact in our lives, and he will be
missed until the day we see him again. Devon, know that mommy,
daddy and your brother and sister miss and love you very very
much. You'll be forever on our minds and in our hearts!

heart defect. He had 2 open heart surgeries and was placed on
ECMO. He passed away after a Norwood surgery. Daniel is very
missed by his family.

Charles
Richardson Samuel Fields
12/1/98 - 5/4/99 |
Sammy as we called him was a
sweet little baby, not really a care in the
world. Such a warming smile.
He passed away from a rare heart defect called Shone's Complex. He
will be greatly missed. He was my angel here on earth, and now, he
is my angel in heaven.

Wyatt Johnathan Darrin Prince
11/13/97 - 4/11/98
|
In loving memory of our "little
warrior". You will always be in our hearts.

Benjamin Allen Brand
10/4/97 - 10/7/97 |
Our first child, Ben, was diagnosed with
HLHS about 5 hours after he was born. Ben looked just perfect and
beautiful on the outside, but inside, his heart was not perfect.
He was flown to a different hospital where he stayed until the day
he died (three days later). Ben also had pulmonary stenosis in
addition to his HLHS, so they were to perform a heart cath on
10/7/97 to open the valve. After complications from a
catheterization, Benjamin fought and fought, but they finally gave
up resuscitation. Thirty minutes later, after all efforts had
stopped, he started breathing on his own again! Our miracle! But
by then, he had been through enough, and we let him go. We were
able to hold him as he took his last breaths, for which I am ever
grateful.
The three days that we had with our son
Benjamin were some of the best of our lives!

Marc Alan
Fusilier
3/5/91-7/23/91
|
Marc Alan was born full term on March 5,
1991, and soon after birth, we learned of his fate. Our precious
little boy lived with only 2 full chambers to his heart and
severly under-developed pulmonary arteries. Marc lived 4 1/2
months, all except 6 weeks were spent in the NICU and PICU.
He was a true fighter and gave us many
wonderful memories. He is missed every day by his sisters and mom
and dad. Marc touched many lives in his brief life, and even in
death, his memory lives on.
