Breanna

VSD, DORV, complete repair

Our daughter was born with multiple congenital heart defects due to her having a diaphragmatic hernia. The hernia did not allow growth of the heart. It was not until after birth that we knew of her condition. The doctors were being reserved in her care, they immediately had to vent her at birth and within hours of birth she was put on ECMO. Once the cardiologist was able to determine her diagnosis, he came and told us everything that was wrong.

— Michelle and Wayne, Breanna's parents and sisters Lani and Katie (Brookwood Alabama)
