Brent Allen

Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF)

Brent Was born on September 5, 2003 with Tetralogy of Fallot. He had his first operation on the 10th of October 2003. When the doctors told my wife and I that our son had TOF we were terrified had no idea what to expect— through the networks and resources we were better able to understand his condition.

Brent goes to Children's hospital in Milwaukee. I must say it's very scary, but if I can offer any words of help it would be to accept the disease that your son or child has and be positive that there is help out there. I have a wonderful story that I kept from the day that Brent was born and all that Kris and I have been through so far. If you would like a copy, please write to portraits@tchin.org. My heart goes out to all the other moms and dads that are out there I know what you are going through.

— Scott, Brent's Father (Elkhorn, WI)
