Complex CHD; B-T shunt, Central Shunt, Glenn, Fontan 'homograft'

I would like to introduce myself to the group. I am Dana Seargeant from Fort Worth. My son Cody who is 14 has a complex CHD. I have really enjoyed reading all the emails.

Cody is getting ready for another surgery on January 27th in Houston. I would like to know if anyone has had a recent surgery in Houston and how your experience was? He has had 4 surgeries so far and they have all been done in Dallas. This was a hard decision in some ways, but I feel we have made the right decision. Sometimes you just go with your gut feeling.

Diagnosis: Transposition of the Great Arteries (TGA), Double Inlet Left Ventricle (DILV), HMV, Hypoplastic Right Ventricle(HRV), Pulmonary Stenosis (PS)
Treatment: 1990 Central Shunt, Enlarged Hole; 1991 Left B-T Shunt; 1992 Glenn Shunt, 1993 External Modified Fontan Homograft
