Dylan was born with double inlet left ventricle, hypoplastic right ventricle, transposition, ASD, VSD, pulmonary stenosis. Dylan was recently diagnosed with sub aortic stenosis.

Dylan had all 3 operations and is doing extremely well. He had the lateral tunnel Fontan when 2-1/2 yrs old. He is now 4-1/2 and is like any other normal kid his age.

Dylan was recently enrolled in a gifted school. He is bright, energetic and always curious. We are constantly amazed by him. He might have another operation for his subaortic stenosis in the next year or so. His gradient pressure is a 20.They will intervene when his gradient pressure is a 40.

We try not to think about another operation. We live for each day and try not to dwell. Things are going great for us. We are truly blessed to have Dylan in our lives.

January 2007 Update

Dylan is 8 yrs old and still doing well. He is a typical child who loves to build and loves his bionicles. He now is a big brother to 2 little brothers. He is excellent with the babies! They love him to pieces and are very sad when he has to go to school. He will need surgery in the future to enlarge his VSD, so now we just watch and wait.
