Repaired Tetralogy of Fallot, SVT

Laura Ann

Hello this is my beautiful daughter Laura Ann. She had a B-T shunt at 1 week and repair for Tetralogy of Fallot at three years. At the age of fourteen, she started having SVT but we could never catch it on a EKG until we got the heart card. We got to where she was having it three times a day.

They sent them to her doctor and told us to take her to the nearest hospital. We did and they sent her home. And she had another episode and we were told to go to St. Louis to Cardinal Glennon by 10am the next day, but she had another episode before we left home. So we left for St. Louis and they called me on the cell and told me to stop at nearest hospital. From there, they airlifted her to Cardinal Glennon. They put on Lanoxin and so far the pain and dizziness has disappeared.
