Dr. Veronin is an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy
Administration in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences. He
graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of
Arizona College of Pharmacy and is a registered pharmacist with over
20 years experience in a variety of community and clinical practice
settings.
He received a Master of Science degree in Computer
Education/Cognitive Systems, and Ph.D. in Information
Science/Medical Informatics, both from the University of North
Texas in Denton, Texas, and completed post-doctoral fellowship
training in Health Informatics from Texas Tech University Health
Sciences Center School of Pharmacy in Amarillo, Texas.
Ongoing research
Dr. Veronin's research interests include information and
communications technology (ICT), with emphasis on Health
Informatics, and telemedicine and telepharmacy applications.
