Lifelong interest in congenital cardiovascular
disease in adults. Formal training was in cardiology
and internal medicine with Fellowship in Cardiology
in Boston. Had my first contact with Congenital
Heart Disease in Adults as a junior resident at the
Brigham hospital rotating through the then, Boston
Lying In Hospital. Maintained interest in CHD as
well as high risk obstetrics and served as Chief of
Med and Cardiology with major role in Ob-Gyn at St.
Mary's Health Center in St Louis for 19 years. Now,
active with office practice, consults, and non-
invasive cardiology. I have regularly attended the
annual meeting of international experts in
Congenital Heart Disease in Adults sponsored by
American College of Cardiology. I don't claim to be
an expert, but I do spend a lot of time with each
patient and their unique problems.
Interests
A lot of interest and experience in
high risk obstetrics (cardiology) but no longer
allowed to pursue that due to the high cost of
insurance since the group I am in is very large.
Still enjoy seeing all types of congenital
cardiovascular disease in adults in the office
setting.
