Xavier

TGA, two-part Arterial Switch

Xavier is a 16-1/2 year old who was born with TGA and had two VSDs. The VSDs closed on their own and he had a two-part switch done, which consisted of a shunt and banding at one month of age.

Xavier got a clot in his shunt so at 2 months he had the switch. He has had a lot of lung issues and has a leaky aortic valve now that they watch closely. He also has complete right bundle branch block. He takes medication for his blood pressure off and on.

Xavier loves drumming and driving his jeep.

— Barbara, Xavier's Mom (GA)
