Public Service Announcements

In December 2002, C.H.I.N. produced two public service announcements.  The first public service announcement (which was actually the second one produced) will be distributed to 300 television stations for broadcast this spring. The other spot will be distributed at a later date.

Our PSAs could not have been produced without the help of some extraordinary individuals in the entertainment industry -- Steve Gerbson, Elayne Boosler, and many others, including C.H.I.N. members Michael Liben and Gerri Kramer. They have our unending gratitude.

If you have streaming video, you can preview the public service announcement by clicking on the links below.

Watch the PSA Online

If you have either Windows Media Player or RealPlayer installed on your computer, you can preview the PSA by clicking on the links below.

The quality of the video depends on the speed of your internet connection and on the speed of your computer.  If you are using a dial-up modem, click the 56k Dialup button.  If you have a cable modem, DSL, or a direct T-1 connection, click on the 331k Cable/DSL button to see a higher-quality rendition.  If you use Windows Media player, have dial-up and are patient, you can also watch the high-quality Windows Media feed.

We'd love to hear your opinions: please use the comment form at the bottom of this page to let us know what you think!

Please note that if you do not have recent versions of the players or if your machine is more than three years old, the video may appear choppy, the picture may be missing, or the videos may not play at all (but it's still worth a try).  A link to the current version of each media player is included below.

If you have trouble seeing the video, try upgrading to the latest Windows Media player by clicking the link above.  It is normal for the "faster download" feed to look blurry. You can also try the downloadable versions by clicking the link below.

If you cannot view the streaming video because you are behind a firewall, or want to save a copy on your computer to view later, please click here for a downloadable version.
